Contrivance's vast line-up of cradle frame models and designs are equipped with cylinder and manifold protective covers. We use OSHA and DOT recommendations for safe handling and shipping. Contrivance incorporates tops that are specific to a particular type of frame or multiple variations depending on the customers' preference and requirements.

The Cvance1 cradle top is specific to the Cvance 1 series frames. Our tops can not be utilized on any model due to the frame's unique design. There are two options available with one having an angle iron protective top cover to protect the cylinder valves and manifold. Tops are secured to the cylinders utilizing four all-thread connecting rods securing the cylinders safely in place.

This cover assembly is simple in design but a perfect match for the incredibly rugged Cvance 2 series. This top is securely welded and not bolted to the center up-right post. This feature provides integral strength and protection for the manifold and cylinders. Only available on the Cvance 2 due to the inherent design.

The "H-TOP" & "X"- TOP are available on both the Cvance 4 and 14 series cradles and Cvance frames incorporating the "Cage Style" cradle pack. These products are similar in their designed functions, however; they are very different in the constructed design. The "X"-Top design utilized a heavy duty flat bar X configuration, where the "H"-Top design utilizes all C-Channel design.
